Human psychometric assessments are crucial tools used to measure and evaluate individuals' psychological attributes, abilities, and traits. These assessments provide valuable insights into human behavior, cognitive functions, personality traits, and emotional intelligence. Understanding the significance of psychometric assessments is essential for optimizing individual and organizational performance.
To understand how to improve performance, you must first understand key metrics that matter and the values and meaning behind what we do. Our assessments allow you to take a deep dive into understanding you better. You'll learn what you value most, how you make decisions, what motivates and drives you, how you communicate and identify situations that can trigger stress, and more. Our assessments also complement other coaching and training tools available today, from sports psychology to other strengths-based and personality tools, we encourage our clients to think of our assessments as the foundation from which everything else can grow from and build upon. We offer the most comprehensive assessment instruments available, which covers three key areas:
TARGETED DISC (BEHAVIORS)
This assessment is composed of scientifically-formulated questions that provide an accurate description of an individual's strengths, limitations, and workplace preferences. It measures 15 factors that demonstrate HOW people communicate verbally and nonverbally, both on and off the job, field, court or arena. By understanding how someone interacts with others, you will be able to create better team dynamics, train people to be more effective, and match people to appropriate roles and positions within the organization.
MOTIVATORS
Just as the TD assessment gives insight into “how” someone will behave, the Motivators assessment explains “why.” This assessment measures seven different key motivating factors (personal drivers) that most influence a person's life choices, decisions, and actions. People make decisions based on what motivates and drives them, enabling them to align their passions with more of what they love at work or on the field, and less of what frustrates them.
AXIOLOGY (VALUES)
The Science of Axiology is a mathematically-based science that measures how we think, find meaning, and make decisions based on what we value. When people make value judgments, they use both their mental and emotional programming to arrive at their decisions. Some people have very solid and reliable decision-making abilities, while others routinely make poor choices. Our profiles objectively measure the quality of a person’s judgment and decision-making by gauging both their mental clarity and their emotional conditioning, allowing us to understand how a person's choices are made, how thoughts are processed, and how they are most likely to react in any given situation.
The Ready to Play Assessment is a one-of-a-kind tool that looks at values, behaviors, and motivators. It's a starting point and lays a solid foundation for other tools, strategies, and interventions to work from. There are all kinds of resources out there to help you perform better, but what makes the R2P a great starting point, is that it can be complementary to other programs and interventions. You can (and should) use this repeatedly, such as with each new season or transition to the next level presents a potential barrier to performance.
When it comes to happiness and success in life, Emotional-Social Intelligence (ESQ) matters just as much as intellectual ability (IQ). ESQ helps you build stronger relationships, succeed at school, sports, work, and achieve your goals.
ESQ is the ability to identify, use, understand, and manage emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict. ESQ impacts many different aspects of your daily life, such as the way you behave and the way you interact with others. If you have high ESQ, you can recognize your emotional state and the emotional states of others, and engage with people in a way that draws them to you. You can use this understanding of emotions to relate better to other people, form healthier relationships, achieve greater success at school, sports, work, and lead a more fulfilling life.
You are a unique individual and part of what makes up your personality is your behavioral style. There is no right or wrong style. This is simply how you tend to behave and communicate with others. Most misunderstandings between people are due to not understanding HOW to communicate with each other. Learning how to recognize the style of others, and adapt your method of communication and interaction, will make you a better communicator. You may behave differently naturally (when you are at home or in a safe relaxed environment where you let your guard down) than you do at school. So we measure Natural and School behaviors and then look at the difference to see where you tend to adapt (change) your behavior. Any big shifts from your natural behavior to your school behavior may cause you stress. However, learning how to modify your behavior appropriately for school can help you get along better with teachers and other students and cause you less stress. The ability to handle adapting your behavior depends on you. Understanding yourself is the key to managing the change with as little stress as possible.
